Rup Magon and Quarrom of Josh band, the Indo-Pak-Canadian band in the world has sold more than two million records worldwide, and collaborated with international artists like Nelly Furtado and Apache Indian. Josh has recently released their fourth album, “Beyond Kismat.”

Princesses of Pakistani pop industry , Annie Khalid launched her own café in Lahore on the evening of 4th June 2011.

The café is located in Gulberg. Café also has a wide variety of sheesha flavors available, including an herbal, non-tobacco, sheesha for people who are not fond of tobacco.

The 2011 edition of New Delhi’s Big Horn Festival has been announced. The specifically original-music-only festival features free gigs by local bands, and will be held at the India Habitat Center, spanning six days between April 8-13.

JOSH lead Vocalist Qurram Hussain got married to a Canadian national, Saima Chaudhry in Toronto, Canada.

Only close family and friends were invited. Band mate Rup (Rupinder Magon) was also present at the marriage ceremony. Both Q and Saima were dressed traditionally on the occasion.

Like Q, his wife Saima Chaudhry is also a Pakistani, born and raised in Canada. However, Q’s roots go back to Karachi and Saima’s roots go back to Lahore.

Jal is giving the music composition of Bolluwood movie, “Qasam Se Qasam Se” directed byAshfaque Makrani, who has edited more then 40 bollywood films like Veer, Deewangee, Apne, Welcome, etc.

Qasam Se Qasam Se will be Makrani‘s debut film as a film director and Jal‘s presence on board will surely help the popularity of the film.

Pakistani singer Jawad Bashir released his album “Subrang” in India through Times Music. It is the first solo album by Jawad. Jawad had been the lead singer for the Mekaal Hassan Band, since its inception.

Subrang is a soulful album, which includes various genres of music – Classical, Pop, Sufi, & Punjabi Folk. ”Subrang” will be released in Pakistan soon.

Ali Zafar has finally launched his latest album ‘Jhoom’. Ali launched this album in unique style with his star friends. This is third album from Ali Zafar. The album is essentially a sufi album, especially for those fans who’ve loved his style in Coke Studio.
